Roles & Responsibilities of a Mortgage Support Specialist

  • You will also carry out many different functions which require manual operations; this includes updating and maintaining system integrity by reconciling and moving data to and from different systems.
  • You will run the day to day functions for the Real Wallet program, executing and managing the workflows and the Standard Operating Procedures ensuring all requirements are done accurately and on schedule.
  • You will be a primary contact who identifies and corrects data discrepancies between systems by following Standard Operating Procedures.
  • You will need to communicate operational concerns to the product, engineering, finance and support teams, to help keep business operations functioning and help keep internal workflows unimpeded.
  • You also will help keep tracking program data and dashboards current
  • You will be responsible to identify and communicate concerns for continuous operational improvement.
  • You will be working with a USA based manager requiring consistent communication across time zones and developing a good working relationship with a manager through limited time working together.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Excellent skills with spreadsheets, like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, for example, for a will definitely be an asset in terms of talking about data analysis and interpretation.
  • Having been part of data entry and/or data management in whatever systems will be deemed as an asset.
  • Some understanding of writing scripts or automation tools such as Python, SQL will certainly be an important growth area for this role.
  • Again, with data visualization and reporting tools considerations such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Google Data Studio, Metabase, Looker, and especially having built dashboards or visual reporting tools, will be seen as an advantage.
