Roles & Responsibilities For Software Development Engineer Role
- Drafting test plans and test cases against design requirements and the finalized product and system design
- Contributing to system test plans to provide the most efficient test coverage and test automation
- Creation and execution of automated system tests to include the simulation of real world scenarios
- System test automation technology and tools assessment and adoption of new test automation approaches and procedures
Skill Required
- Have at least 2 years of experience with relevant skills and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or a relevant technical degree.
- Have experience developing automation and test frameworks in Python with automation of Rest API’s/Open API’s in your projects.
- Be driven to solve problems with large scale distributed systems and comfortable in a Linux environment.
- Have hands-on experience with certificate management (RSA/ECDSA) and developing scalable test automation for SSL/TLS, PKI, and certificate lifecycle (issuance, rotation, revocation) as an SDET II.
- Have knowledge or interest in the Internet technology protocols TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, etc.
- Have the ability to apply various testing techniques including white/black box testing, functional testing, automated testing, performance testing and others.
- Be excited to use the latest in technology, including AI and Cloud Native solutions, to tackle some of the toughest QA problems.
