Job Description for Airport Ground Staff
- Monitor the loading and movement of baggage to be sure all bags are loaded in carrying vehicles.
- Performing security at B.M.A. and overseeing compliance with all safety requirements.
- Check baggage stickers carefully to make sure they are the right ones.
- Exercise control over access to aircraft, ensure security screening of all airline employees, loaders and cleaners prior to the boarding of aircraft challenging their duty on-board.
- Perform pre-flight checks of aircraft to prevent sabotage.
- Protect the aircraft at apron.
- Make it mandatory for all trainee staff to be trained and certified in Basic AVSEC Training and screeners certification by BCAS before personnel are deployed for security purposes at airports.
- Monitor work of all loaders and cleaners performed in the airports under control, reporting to shift-In-charge.
