Roles & Responsibilities For Financial Analyst
- Check and review borrowers’ financial history, such as income proof, tax returns, bank statements, credit reports, asset paperwork and employment history.
- Rigorously review mortgage documentation to meet investor, agency and client needs.
- Help with underwriting loans by reviewing loan applications, verifying income, looking through debt to income (DTI) ratios, and spotting possible issues.
- Review appraisal and property valuation reports to ensure that the property is eligible and meets the requirements for the loan.
- Ensure the accuracy and regulatory compliance of loan estimates (LEs), closing documents and closing disclosures (CDs).
- Perform quality control (QC) on loan files and find discrepancies, missing documents or other compliance concerns.
- Keep up to date and accurate records and ensure all loan information is kept up to date in the ERP system.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Prior experience in the US, UK, or other international mortgage processes is a must.
- Prior knowledge of government-backed and conventional mortgage underwriting guidelines and compliance standards.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must be selfmanaged, responsive and dedicated to customer support.
