Roles & Responsibilities For Customer Service

  • Handle both incoming and outgoing calls related to healthcare insurance, claim submissions, billing issues, and eligibility inquiries.
  • Provide them with timely and accurate information.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of healthcare benefits, medical terms, and insurance processes.
  • Timely and accurate record all client interactions and transactions in the system.
  • Ensure and maintain compliance with HIPAA and patient privacy regulations at all times.
  • Achieve and exceed defined key performance indicators (KPIs) including, but not limited to, quality of service, customer satisfaction (CSAT), and Average Handling Time (AHT).
  • Work with other functional units for resolution of escalated issues as well as for improvement of processes.
  • Assist in instructing and advising clients on the basics and advantages of consumer-driven healthcare in order for them to make well-informed decisions regarding their benefit plans, optimize their health plan benefits, and select high-quality healthcare providers.
