Vodafone has an opening for an Internship Networks Delivery Coordinator for the Delivery Management as a Service (DMaaS) team in the Network Strategy & Engineering (NSE) team. Interns are required to assist the team with coordination of project management tasks for the successful delivery of low to medium complexity standard network projects within the different markets in Europe. The chosen applicants will be required to work with various teams within the company to ensure projects are completed according to the NSE end to end delivery framework and within the expected delivery timeframe and project scope. In this internship you will gain an exceptional project management skills for the evolving field of telecommunications, and delivery network services. What you will do
- Oversee and manage specific DMaaS (P*Q) focused end-to-end projects across their lifecycle.
- Oversee the implementation of low and standard complexity projects including, design, build, test, acceptance, and handover to operations.
- Regularly update and manage the project plan to align with the requirements of the program in line with governance.
- Collaborate and partner with stakeholders to identify and manage the risks and issues and escalate where appropriate.
- Ensure clear and prompt communication is undertaken for the project across the stakeholders and project resources.
Eligibility Criteria
- A graduate of Computer Science or Telecommunications from a university or from an equivalent discipline.
- Beginning professional with less than one year of experience with project management, especially in telecommunications or networks.
- Can work with teams in other locations and deal with different people.
- Good verbal and written communication in English.
- Knows about structure frameworks for delivery, risk management, and project governance.
- Has a basic understanding of the techniques of networks and engineering.
- Able to work with other people, flexible, and can do the work with minimal direction.
