| Skills 1. Understanding of basic accounting concepts such as debits, credits, and journal entries. 2.Familiarity with invoice processing, payment processing, and expense tracking. 3. Ability to read and interpret balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. 4.Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for tracking, analyzing, and reporting accounts payable data (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). 5.Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or any ERP system) for managing payments and financial records. Requirements 1.Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2.Some employers may also consider candidates with diplomas or certifications in accounting or finance, such as Certified Accounts Payable Specialist (CAPS). 3.Understanding of Accounting Principles: Knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts such as journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliation. 4.Previous experience with invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense tracking is often preferred. 5.Ability to understand and interpret financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets. | |||||
