Caidya Careers, Work from Home – Roles & Responsibilities For Account Payable

• Taking daily count of the invoices received in the AP mailbox
• Processing Invoices from intercompany entities whose accounting is not done in-house
• Entering the invoices received in the Company’s accounting application and ensuring accuracy in data entry and general ledger coding.
• Assure proper support and email approvals.
• Communicate globally for relevant details for accurate AP Invoice processing.
• Pass to local 3rd party accounting timely in alignment with month end cutoffs
• Ensure that every invoice is backed by a supporting document in the ERP. There should be adequate reason for any invoice without proper supporting document.
• Seek approval from relevant project managers or functional area leaders
• Set-up new vendors in the accounting application
• Set-up new fixed assets
• Assist with month end close as required.
• Inform appropriate Finance Controllers regarding invoice due dates to ensure timely payment run.
• Review and take action on aging AP items within SOP timelines
• To escalate issues to relevant stakeholders.
