Job Responsibility For Site Reliability Engineer Role
- System and Infrastructure Management: Designing, deploying, and managing scalable and reliable systems and infrastructure components. This includes ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and efficient performance of the infrastructure.
- Automation and Tooling: Developing and maintaining automation tools, scripts, and frameworks to streamline operational tasks, infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring. Automating repetitive processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Incident Management and Response: Participating in incident management processes, responding to critical incidents, and performing root cause analysis to identify underlying issues. Implementing remediation actions and driving proactive measures to prevent recurring incidents.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitoring system performance, capacity, and resource utilization. Identifying bottlenecks, performance issues, and potential areas for optimization. Implementing performance improvements and capacity planning strategies.
- Continuous Integration and Deployment: Collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth and automated build, test, and deployment processes. Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent and reliable software releases.

Skills Required For Site Reliability Engineer
