- To provide initial ground training, in aeronautical knowledge areas required for the issuance of a type rating or any other training as per the Airbus/Airbus affiliates Flight training manuals.
- To provide recurrent ground training in aeronautical knowledge areas, as required for recurrent training of pilots and Ground Instructors
- To provide ground training for SFI & TRI
- To train Ground Instructors to conduct initial, recurrent or transition training in accordance with the FCTP as directed by the Head of Flight Training.
- To assist in the development of various training programs
- Checks the validation of training manuals and other course materials used in various flight training courses
- To communicate issues of concern, or of exceptional achievement, regarding crew member trainees’ performance to the Head of Flight Training in a timely manner
- Any other task as directed by Head of Flight Training or his designate
