Roles and Responsibilities for Purchase Executive
- Oversee the purchase of items and services needed to operate the store.
- Source suppliers and make selection based upon quality, cost, and lead times.
- Watch your inventory levels and reorder before going out of stock.
- Negotiate contract terms of agreements with suppliers, vendors and Subcontractors in line with the industries standards.
- Ensure the prompt delivery of goods and merchandise to the store.
- Work with cross-functional groups to meet PO’s and needs.
- Keep as well as manage orders in order to have records updated.
- Resolve problems concerning the delivery and/or quality of products.
- Cultivate good relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Help prepare budgets and forecasts for future purchasing requirements.
