- Receives and sends out parcels, packages, or documents to locations as instructed.
- Makes deliveries and conducts other assigned activities within the time limits predetermined with the client.
- Collects all the required documents for delivery such as receipts and signed proof of acknowledgment for stored deliveries.
- Subsequently signed delivery documents are kept and all registers are updated accordingly.
- Care of items while they are in transit is ensured by proper packing and checking for damages before confirming shipment.
- Communicates with forwarders or planners concerning route organization.
- Until completion of basic tasks are accomplished, the internal policy and procedures of the company concerning road dispatching are adhered to.
- From answering delivery calls, addresses the customers or the queries which require clarifying working.
- Delivery issues regarding timeliness, missing delivery items, and other concerns are reported to line managers.
- Basic hygiene in the vehicle assigned to user for troubleshooting assigned during simple servicing is maintained.
