Role and responsibilities of an Senior Manager
- E-commerce engagement in states; liasioning activities including stakeholder engagement, advocacy, regular cadence with state governments on licenses, permits, GST, taxation issue, facilitating and supporting ease of doing business.
- Act as a bridge between the organization and stakeholders by partnering with governments and district authorities to enhance business performance and create a favorable environment for e-commerce, particularly for SMEs.
- Liasioning with Government of West Bengal WBSIDC, state departments for licenses/approvals including exceptional approvals as and when needed to further seamless operations for Big Box in Haringhata, Nadia district
- Ensure seamless resolution of infrastructure and regulatory issues by supporting cross-functional teams; Addressing, solving, finding solutions with government bureaucracy on issues related to operational challenges, labour, crisis and risk mitigation etc.
- Initiating formal meetings with state government officials, handle law and order issues, monitor government engagements (updates on the government, recent developments and movements in the government)
- Monitoring key developments which have the potential to impact Flipkart’s operations in these states including business exigencies, license & permit requirements, support to APST and other specific requirements as part of escalation matrix.
- Advocate for and safeguard the company’s interests across various governmental levels, including state administration, police, district, and local authorities.
- To mitigate crisis, labour Issues, law enforcement issues including post BBD and non-BBD times.
- Leveraging, discussing and engaging for strategic projects with state departments.
Role and responsibilities of an Assistant Manager
- Conduct thorough and objective investigations of alleged violations of the organization’s code of ethics, policies, and procedures.
- Gather and analyze evidence, including documents, emails, and witness statements, to determine the facts surrounding the alleged violation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with other departments, including HR, Legal, and Ethics, to ensure investigations are handled in a fair and objective manner.
- Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the investigation process.
- Prepare written reports detailing the findings of each investigation
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations, as well as best practices in investigation.
- Ensure that all investigations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and that all evidence is collected and preserved in a manner consistent with legal requirements.
