What You Will Be Doing As Telecom Engineer

• Network Design and Planning: I would be involved in designing and planning telecommunication networks, including analyzing requirements, determining network topology, and selecting appropriate technologies and equipment for the network infrastructure.
• Installation and Configuration: I would oversee the installation and configuration of telecom equipment and systems, such as routers, switches, servers, and telephony devices. This would involve ensuring proper connectivity, setting up network protocols, and conducting necessary tests to verify system functionality.
• Network Maintenance and Troubleshooting: I would be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the telecom network infrastructure. This includes troubleshooting network issues, conducting regular performance monitoring, and implementing necessary upgrades or repairs to ensure optimal network performance.
• Telecommunication Systems Integration: I would work on integrating various telecommunication systems and technologies, such as Voice over IP (VoIP), wireless networks, fiber optics, and data transmission protocols. This involves configuring systems to work seamlessly together and ensuring compatibility and interoperability.
• Network Security: I would implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and network vulnerabilities. This may involve implementing firewalls, encryption, access control, and other security protocols to safeguard network infrastructure.

What You Will Be Doing As Process Engineer

• Assist with training other engineers by providing instruction on new technologies and/or a specialization 
• Expert and looked to for technical solutions. Maintains and promotes a focus on end product whether engineering, fabrication, or construction 
• Activities will involve one or more of the following: P&ID and PFD development, Heat and Material Balances, Hydraulic Calculations, Relief Valve Sizing, Line Sizing, Pump Sizing, etc. 
• Maintain and promote a focus on the end product whether engineering, fabrication, or construction 
• Communicate technical solutions and concepts to other engineers and non-engineers 
• Ensure effective communication among other engineering disciplines 
• Mentor junior Process Engineers and depending on the size and complexity of the scope of work may be assigned as the process Engineering Lead for a project 

Skills Required for the job

• Working knowledge of the content and application of standards, codes, and guidelines, including ISA, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, ANSI, and EIA/TIA  
• Advanced experience with MS Office Suite including Excel and Word
