Key Responsibilities:
- For example, assign appropriate codes for Emergency Department (ED) facility services ICD10CM, CPT and HCPCS –
- Review of ED medical records, including provider documentation and charges sheets
- Comply with CMS, payer guidelines and facility coding
- Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks
- Reconcile Coding Edits, Denials and Discrepancies
- Have good comply with HIPAA and compliance
- Collaborate with QA and billing teams to facilitate the submission of clean claims
Eligibility Criteria:
- 14 years experience working with ED Facility coding
- Certifications : CPC / COC / CCS (Active)
- Familiarity with facility coding guidelines for emergency departments
- Knowledge of modifiers, APCs and charge capture
- Good keen eye for detail and analytical ability
- Able to handle a fast-paced working environment
