Roles & Responsibilities For Mri Technician
- Educate patients about MRIs and MRI safety in order to ease their anxiety about the procedure.
- Talk to patients about anxiety problems such as claustrophobia, implants or pacemakers.
- Carry out MRI diagnostic imaging.
- Ensure that patients are positioned for an optimal imaging of the body part(s).
- Ensure patients’ safety and comfort throughout the procedure by monitoring.
- Collect and compile the procedure documentation.
- Review with the physician and/or radiologist the procedure request, and discuss the images.
