Roles & Responsibilities For International Patient Coordinator
- Respond to international patient inquiries via email, phone/WhatsApp and other means.
- Identify patient needs and connect them with their doctor or any other clinical staff for needed medical advice.
- Help out with gathering and providing medical records, helping out the patient with other required paperwork.
- Respond to patient questions in a timely manner with appropriate follow-up.
- Help global patients inform about hospital process, treatment packages, approximate time frame and services.
- Keeping all patients records in track by updating the enquiry and follow up details in the system.
- Hospital processes regarding visa related documentation and coordination for international patients
- You need to be able to communicate professionally with patients and their attendants, who may come from different countries & cultures.
- Elevate medical, operationalor service-related issues to the appropriate department.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information according to hospital policies and SOPs.
- Develop simple MIS reports including overview status of enquires, appointment, conversions and patient flows.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager.
Eligibility Criteria For International Patient Coordinator
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Certificate/Course in Medical Tourism, Healthcare Management, Hospital Management or International Patient Services.
- Of course, very good command of English language and knowledge of at least another foreign languages will be a plus.
- Polished, professional, outgoing and customer service oriented.
- Good interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Computer Applications.
- Your readiness to work in rotational shifts as needed.
