In this role you will…
- Help with the day-to-day monitoring of cloud infrastructure and maintenance / operations.
- Work on Support Tickets, Service Request and Ops Tasks through defined Tools or Processes
- Identify, troubleshoot and escalate for support incident management to minimize service downtime.
- Assist in performing routine server administering tasks for Windows and Linux servers.
- Provide monitoring of backup jobs and help in recovery activities if needed.
- Implement approved changes in line with change management processes.
- Serve as operational backend support to internal Customer Support teams
- To help provide trouble shooting on Windows Server, Linux, IIS, VMware, Databases And Web Applications.
- Log the ops instructions, incident resolutions and troubleshooting steps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service availability & customer satisfaction.
- Work in rotational shifts for the 24×7 operations environment.
Eligibility Criteria
- A degree of Bachelors in any Computer sciences, Information Technology or related field.
- IT Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, System Administration & Technical Support — 0–2 Yrs
- Fundamentals of windows server / Linux OS
- Exposure to web server like IIS, Apache/Nginx is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with virtualisation technologies, e.g. VMware is an additional advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to establish good communication and customer service.
- Quick learning skills and able to work in teams.
- Good to have knowledge of ITIL concepts, incident management or change management.
- Good written and spoken English.
