Responsibilities of a Support Engineer:
- Support customers over the phone, by email, chat or ticketing.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware and network problems.
- Recognise technical problems and diagnose them.
- Install, configure and maintain application and systems.
- Monitor system performance and system’s operation.
- Leverage complicated problems to higher level engineers or development teams if necessary.
- Produce accurate Customer problems, solutions and trouble shooting reports.
- Give user information on products properties and recommendations for use.
Eligibility Criteria
- Basic knowledge of Operating systems (OS) like Windows, Linux.
- Knowledge of hardware and software problems and solutions.
- Basic knowledge of Database and SQL or Cloud platform is considered.
- Proficient knowledge of technical support tools and ticketing systems is a plus.
- Very good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Very good verbal skills and written skills.
- Flexibility with work shifts, overtime and/or on call as required.
- Open and ready to embrace new technologies and respond to changing environments.
- Independence in work and/or group work.
