Roles & Responsibilities For Associate Engineer/Engineer – RFSW Team
- Designs drivers for Top Modem-RF Transceivers in close co-operation with RF Hardware, Modem/Baseband and RF ASIC teams. This is exactly the basis of the Qualcomm Communication Sysytem solution.
- Develops and Refines cutting edge Modem and RF Transceiver and Antenna/RF Front End algorithms and Software modules to enhance the System performance, Factory yields, RF Testability.
- Contribute Modem-RF Driver knowledge to the resolution of advanced RF and Modem issues in a cross-functional Hardware / Software development environment.
- Collaborates with physical layer teams to deliver new features for competitiveness of performance of Qualcomm Modem in an evolving market.
- Works closely with RF & Modem Systems, Hardware and Test Engineering teams on product development cycles.
Skills & Requirements For Associate Engineer/Engineer – RFSW Team
- The position requires strong C programming skills with an understanding of RF and/Or Communications systems. The candidate should have the knowledge of digital communications and RF theory. An understanding of embedded real time systems is desired. Experience in LTE or 5G wireless systems is a plus. Must have good communication skills and be a team player.
- C and/Or C++ Software Programming and Debugging skills on Embedded real time operating systems/RTOS.
- Should have a good understanding of the Software Engineering concepts.
- Requires a good understanding of the Wireless communication system.
- Knowledge of wireless communication in any of the radio access technologies (e.g. LTE, 5GNR, etc.) is a plus.
