Roles & Responsibilities For Associate Business Analyst
- Track shipment lifecycle, load boards and team mailboxes to provide our clients with timely updates and solutions
- Efficiently execute transportation arrangements through booking and managing loads in the TMS
- Transit Appointment: with customers (pick up) and receivers (delivery)
- Manage data entry, load and updates in logistics system
- Hand exception management resolving standard and knowledge based triggered issues over the front
- Manage customer calls, provide updates on what has been shipped, and highlight anticipated risks
- Display strong writing and speaking skills in sending out a professional and timely update to customers over the phone or e-mail.
- Maintain, Document and Improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Active reports – where sophisticated rules are used to generate, confirm and deliver operational reports (daily / weekly/ monthly).
- Reconcile shipment and operational reports and data across reports & systems
- Work to cross-functional teams (operations, customer, carriers) for better execution.
- Conduct training sessions for customers or internal teams on the systems and processes
- Find areas of process improvement, cost reduction and efficiency improvements
- Be a go-to resource for team members and enhance collective performance
- Drive compliance to defined operational metrics and SLAs
Eligibility Criteria
- Excellent data entry and management skills with a high attention to detail
- 1+ years of experience in roles related to logistics, supply chain or operations support.
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, reporting)
- Hones the skills to manage operational workflows, shipment tracking and load coordination
- Exposure to Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or another type of tool.
- Thorough insight into logistics processes like planning, execution and scheduling of shipment
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and ability to work with customers as well as internal teams
- Prior experience supporting US/UK customers and working within EU/UK time- zone.
- Project management experience (advantageous) Good SAP and MS Office skills High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities Proactive, self-driven and capable of working in a dynamic operational environment
- Able to multitask and manage time effectively
