Roles and Responsibilities For Senior Corporate Counsel
- Supporting all India and APJ Employment matters, including supporting other -global employment legal priorities and initiatives from the HQ.
- Working with People & Culture and business leaders to advise on labor and employment matters in both India and APJ, supporting Employee Relations on complaints and investigations
- Independently researching areas of employment law and compliance gaps, advising on corrective actions that can be implemented to drive policy development and secure updates to the compliance plans with People & Culture based on changing laws
- Counseling Zscaler’s People & Culture team on compliance with labor and employment laws in India and APJ, including but not limited to issues relating to hiring, compensation, benefits mobility, performance management terminations training & investigations.
- Advising on employment policies, supporting People & Culture and Employee Relations through counseling and documentation support; managing disputes, litigation and regulatory proceedings with assistance from outside counsel
