Roles & Responsibilities For Sales Development Representative

  • Focusing your efforts on outbound prospecting into the APAC market to generate a new business pipeline.
  • Work with Account Executives to find and source net new pipeline assisting by researching lines of business and personas
  • Determine most influential people in corporate accounts
  • Create interest with potential customers through Outbound Cold Calling and Emails to penetrate new logos in assigned territory
  • Lead your own qualification calls with prospects to take them through the first part of an evaluation process
  • Use active listening to pick up on customer needs and be clear in your explanation of how Glean can solve their pain points more effectively than other solutions
  • Consistently achieving targets of established quota that will lead to revenue growth for the company
  • Feedback MQLs and Campaigns as a Collaboration with the Marketing team
  • Refine those essential sales skills in discovery calls, cold calling, objection and rejection handling (especially the personalized email outreach), articulating where value lies, prioritization and time management and much more

Eligibility Criteria

  • 1–3 years in SDR/prospecting, outbound specifically preferred
  • Four-year degree from an accredited university
  • Team player and proven working experience in an agile environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent Communication Skill and Create customer prospects
  • A passion and curiosity for technology with an eagerness to understand it and be able to communicate value to customers.
  • The aspiration to be part of a fast-moving, do-whatever-it-takes kind of startup
  • Proven, steady performance exceeding quotas for 1 to 3 years in outbound prospecting and cold outreach
