- Video Editing: This is the core responsibility. Video editors assemble raw footage into a finished product, ensuring the video flows smoothly, has a logical sequence, and conveys the intended message or story.
- Media Management: Organize and manage video assets, ensuring that files are properly labeled, stored, and archived for easy retrieval.
- Storyboarding: Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to create a storyboard or editing plan for the project.
- Editing Software: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or others, depending on the industry and project requirements.
- Transitions and Effects: Add transitions, special effects, graphics, and animations as needed to enhance the visual appeal and storytelling of the video.
