Roles and Responsibilities for Dialysis Technician
- Operate Equipment: Prepare, disinfect and test dialysis machines and prepare the dialysate solution according to doctor orders. [1, 2]
- Monitoring the Patient: Monitor vital signs (Blood Pressure, Heart Rate,Temperature) before, during and after treatment And monitor for complications. [1, 2]
- Clinical Assist: Provide treatment, including inserting needles (cannulation) so that the patient can connect to a machine under close supervision of a nurse or physician. [1, 2, 3]
