Responsibilities for Intern, Accounts Receivable

• Check accounts on a daily basis and perform works to push on-time payments of customers
• Keep records of promises to pay and reach out to customers to have conversations about overdue accounts
• Using our collection system (Lockstep), to track bi-directional correspondence in a fast paced, goal-oriented environment
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies
• Working with Sales people on follow-up efforts and Client refunds
• Applying Credits on account
• Bank closing tasks in AR at month end
• Assist in A/R reporting

Position Requirement:

• Graduation in commerce or accounting.
• Must have strong organization and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation and the ability to established effective working relationships cross functionally throughout Company operations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
