Embedded Software Developer Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and development embedded software from requirements to production on microcontroller based platforms, coding and debugging.
• Contribute to software design and system architecture for controller platforms.
• Create flowcharts, layouts and technical documentation to determine requirements and design solutions.
• Develop good-code, well-commented, well-structured, and maintainable code based on Ingersoll Rand coding standards.
• Attend code and design reviews and software process improvement events.
• Create and use device drivers, Linux OS and embedded C toolchains.
