Responsibilities For Apprentice – Purchasing Associate

• Generate MIS (Management information System) reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Understand and comply with SCM processes.
• Ascertain assigned work is delivered with required quality, within schedule.
• Follow checklist against incoming shipments to a BU on the basis of Invoice.
• Purchase orders/MSR management – Generation, Confirmation, Expedite, end user communication.
• Analyze stocks and raise inter-unit stock transfer orders (MSR) to other BU’s by using overstock data.
• Maintaining Tracker for finalized Purchase Order’s.
• Perform receipt against PO’s to ensure expedite reports and match exceptions
• Resolve invoices/requisition anomalies.
• Should be well organized, consistent and able to communicate effectively in cross functional teams considering data and records.

Skills For Apprentice – Purchasing Associate

• Bachelor’s in science / commerce / PGDCA/ BCA or B-tech or other relevant educational field.
• Desired
• Should possess knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, especially of advanced Excel and word.
• Well versed with Purchasing, Inventory and other SCM functions.
• Knowledge on MS Excel including formulas, special functions viz. Pivot table, pivot chart, VLOOKUP, hlookup etc.
• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
• Exposure with SAP / Oracle SCM module is highly desirable.
• Self-driven, positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a cross functional team.
• Strong communication skills.
