Key Responsibilities of a Trainee – AR Caller – Voice Process

  • Initiate contact with insurance companies regarding pending medical claims after completing a first round of follow-up calls.
  • Follow up on claim status for claims that have been denied or paid under acceptable levels.
  • Complete assessments for patients and confirm insurance coverage and benefits.
  • Analyze claims and denial issues prior to initiating contact with the insurance company.
  • Post follow-up actions to the billing system. Follow up actions are based on the outcome of the phone contact.
  • Resolve claim issues at denial and underpaid status levels and take corrective measures.
  • Seek assistance of senior staff to resolve complicated claim issues.
  • Complete daily targets for the volume of work.
  • The billing staff are required to maintain compliance with all law and policy based regulations.
  • Submit follow-up documentation to assist other billing staff and/or to document bare minimum contact with the insurance company.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Excellent verbal and written English.
  • Basic MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) knowledge.
  • Good verbal and written listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Open for night shifts/ US healthcare process shifts.
  • Average typing and computer skills.
  • Prepared to make outgoing calls.
  • Excellent detail and documentation skills.
  • Basic knowledge of healthcare, medical billing/insurance is a plus.
  • Able to work in a team and goal-oriented setting.
