Responsibilities:
- The coder reviews the documentation and determines what diagnoses have been assigned to the patient
- •Transformation of healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services and equipment into universal alphanumeric codes for medical coder
- •Job of medical coders is to develop a standardised lexicon in order for us to document the reasons for injury, illness & death •When we register with codings, it will allow Uniform documentation among all type of medical facilities.
- The first job of a medical coders is to review clinical statements and assign standard Codes.
Eligibility
- Any Bachelor degree from a recognized university.
- This position is open to freshers with no experience
- Sound knowledge of Human Anatomy and Physiology.
- Excellent in English, both verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills and willingness to learn medical coding
- Should be ready to work in rotational shifts if required.
- Willingness to work from Chennai or Coimbatore on a required based on the business need.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
