Role & Responsibilities For Project & Document Control
- Maintain control of the records, drawings, reports, and other project-related documents.
- Set up procedures and controls for documents and set standards.
- Ensure all documents are recorded properly, numbered and stored.
- Oversee the implementation, control, and maintenance of documents.
- Control the creation, review, approvals, circulation, changes and all aspects of the documents.
- Manage document versions and changes control.
- Ensure the project teams work with the most current and approved documents.
- Control the submission timelines of documents.
- Work with project managers, engineers, contractors and clients on the documents they need.
- Control the registers, transmittals and logs.
- Control all project correspondence.
