Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the administration for on-boarding of new starters, creating and updating HR documents such as contracts and offer letters, assisting with the induction, ensuring background and reference checks are completed
- Production of employee documentation including offer letters, contracts, variations to contracts, and other related documentation which includes, but is not limited to, reference probationary reviews, absence management, the disciplinary process; handling grievances, performance management, the redundancy process and TUPE,
- Maintenance of employee records by updating the HR Database (Sage), Peakon ( People Engagement Tool) and with any employment changes, filing and ensuring compliancy
- Enhance processes for onboarding, offboarding and all other employee lifecycle events
- Supporting the employee performance appraisal process
- Support and advise managers and employees with incoming HR queries, by telephone, email and other correspondence in a professional and efficient manner – with the support of the People Partner when needed
- Providing professional, appropriate and timely advice and guidance to employees and line management on HR Advice on policy and process, seeking the support of the HR (People) Partner where necessary
Skill Required
- Knowledge of fundamental HR practices (Hiring, onboarding, payroll support)
- Knowledge of lifecycle management in employees.
- Familiarity with the labor laws and company policies (minimal level)
- Good competence in such tools as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and HR systems (HRMS/HRIS).
- Record management and data entry.
- Handling staff records and files.
- Managing email and calendars with Microsoft Outlook or other programs.
- Capacity to multitask.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee data.
- Payroll, onboarding and report deadlines.
